Best to use when
Mind Mapping is best used for personal ideas, thinking, notetaking, as a warm up to other exercises such as Crazy Eights. Individuals should use mind mapping to explore the problem however they choose. They shouldn't be shared with the group.
Instructions
01.
Hand out blank sheets of paper and sharpies to all participants.
02.
Set the timer for 10 minutes.
03.
Have everyone do quiet, individual brainstorming. Write or draw everything that they are thinking about. Keep the format free so that people feel comfortable to explore any and all ideas.
